Welcome to The “Dirt” on our Trails, a detailed view of hiking trails in and around Monterey County from a locals perspective.

Like many of us, I really enjoy being outside, exercising, hiking and with a good group of friends, sharing the experience and the wonders of this place we call home. We are very fortunate to be able to hike these trails regularly and sharing some of our insights seems like a good thing to do.

So, this is my opportunity to share our hikes, share a little about each location, pass along trail info and provide you with a locals guide to our favorites in case you decide to visit a few of our trails. So…I hope you enjoy The “Dirt” on our Trails!
